Henry Van Kirk

Henry Van Kirk was born around 1695 in Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey, and died in 1776 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey. He was the earliest known ancestor in a family lineage that includes his son Henry Van Kirk Jr., who lived from December 17, 1740, to April 3, 1798, his grandson William Van Kirk (1763–1826), and his great-granddaughter Charity Malvina Van Kirk (1803–1878). The lineage extends through Phoebe Elizabeth Dickerson, the daughter of Charity Malvina Van Kirk, and ultimately to Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, who was born in 1865 and served as president from 1921 to 1923.
