Zhu Quanhua

Zhu Quanhua was born in 1956 and passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 65. He was born in Beijing and was a military officer in the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. His grandfather was Marshal Zhu De, and his father was Zhu Qi, while his mother was Zhao Liping. Zhu Quanhua was the grandson of Zhu De.

At the age of 15, Zhu Quanhua was taken to the military by Fleet Commander Xiao Jinguang to begin his military career, initially serving in the North Sea Fleet. In 1974, considering that Zhu De was advanced in age and that his descendants worked elsewhere, the military transferred Zhu Quanhua back to Beijing. Upon learning this, Zhu De remarked that his grandson was pursuing the revolutionary cause of the proletariat, not simply serving as an obedient and filial grandson. Following Zhu De's advice, Zhu Quanhua was reassigned to work in a naval unit in Nanjing.

Throughout his career, Zhu Quanhua mainly served in the Chinese People's Navy, where he held the position of Deputy Director of Naval Equipment. In this role, he was responsible for naval equipment-related affairs. Later, he also served as the Executive Director of the Zhu De Public Welfare Foundation Management Committee, overseeing the daily operations and management of the charity funds.

Zhu Quanhua had a profound family background; as the grandson of Zhu De, his family held significant historical and political importance. His father, Zhu Qi, also had influence within the military, and his mother, Zhao Liping, played an important role within the family.

In the early morning of September 20, 2021, Zhu Quanhua passed away in Beijing. His death marked the end of his military career and also concluded his work in the fields of military service and public welfare.
