Introduction
Princess Taikang Zhu Xiurong was born on February 19, 1494, and died on October 1, 1498. She was a member of the Ming Dynasty imperial family. She was the only daughter of Emperor Xiaozong Ming and Consort Zhang, as well as the younger maternal sister of Emperor Wuzong Ming. The princess was born on the fourteenth day of the first lunar month in the seventh year of the Hongzhi era and passed away on the sixteenth day of the ninth lunar month in the eleventh year of Hongzhi. She died at the age of only four years old. Emperor Xiaozong Ming mourned her deeply, temporarily ceased court duties for a day, and presented condolence gifts. She was buried in Jīnshān Yúan in the western part of Beijing, with her funeral held on October 25, 1498.
