Introduction
Princess Renhe was born in 1474 and died in 1544. She was a princess of the Ming Dynasty, the eldest daughter of Emperor Xianzong of Ming. Her mother was Lady Wang Shun. The princess married Qi Shimi, son of Qi You, vice minister of the Ministry of Rites, in the second year of Hongzhi (1489). After marriage, the couple had five sons.
In the year following her marriage, Emperor Xiaozong of Ming granted her 215 qing of farmland in Sanhe County. By the 17th year of Hongzhi (1504), she was granted 294 qing of land in Li Shangtun, Wuqing County. In June of the 14th year of Zhengde (1519), her eldest son Qi Liang was promoted to a senior fourth-rank commandant, and her other four sons served in roles such as vice qianhu.
The princess passed away in the 23rd year of Jiajing (1544), at the age of 71.
