Introduction
Princess Jiaxing, a princess of the Ming Dynasty, was born in the seventh year of Yongle (1409). She was the eldest daughter of Ming Renzong Zhu Gaoci, and her mother was Empress Chengxiao Zhao. In the first year of Hongxi (1425), she was bestowed the title Princess Jiaxing, and in the third year of Xuande (1428), she married Jing Yuan. In the second year of Zhengtong (1437), she was designated as the Grand Princess of Jiaxing. The princess passed away in February of the fourth year of Zhengtong (1437), at the age of thirty-one. Jing Yuan was killed ten years later during the Tumu Crisis.
