Introduction
Zhu Yicun, born on October 15, 1555, was the eldest son of Emperor Mu of Ming. His mother was Princess Consort Li, who was posthumously honored as Empress Xiaoyi Zhuang. In the thirty-fourth year of Jiajing (1555), Zhu Yicun was born, at which time his father was still Prince Yü. In the thirty-eighth year of Jiajing (1559), Zhu Yicun passed away at the age of only three, and was subsequently posthumously honored as the Prince of Yü. During Emperor Mu of Ming's reign, in the first year of Longqing (1567), Zhu Yicun was posthumously enfeoffed as Prince Xianhuai.
