Aimee Chan

Emma Chen, born in Hong Kong, has participated in numerous beauty pageants, winning the Miss Hong Kong Pageant and the Miss Friendship International Award. She received her award at the 2006 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, also earning the Best Talent Award and the Most Popular Lady on Stage Award. Early in her career, in 2004, she participated in the Toronto Chinese Beauty Pageant, gaining valuable experience despite not winning.

In 2006, she signed with TVB, becoming a contracted artist. Her entertainment career began in 2007 when she participated in the Miss Chinese International Pageant. That same year, she played the role of Dai Yintoi in the family comedy "Colleagues Three Friends." In 2009, she took part in the cooking game show "Beauty Kitchen" Season 2 produced by TVB. Also in 2009, she starred as a righteous female police officer, Yung Siu-yi, in the drama "Burning Flame III," starring Kevin Cheng and Bosco Wong, and made her film debut in "72 Tenants of Prosperity."

In the following years, Emma continued to release diverse works. In 2010, she played Cheung Po-yuk, Yao Hak-sham's half-sister, in the crime suspense drama "The Detectives." In 2011, she portrayed different roles in the comedy "C Klang Fook Luk Tam" and the crime romance series "Galactic Odyssey III." In 2012, she starred as maid Tin Oi-tai in the love drama "The Ladder" and played Wode Heshou Princess in the historical costume drama "The Great Tsoi." In 2013, she appeared as Lai Yiu-chu in "My Heart is that Much" and as American TV producer Zheng Bao-bao in "Across the Ocean."

In 2014, Emma starred in the romantic dramas "Single Love Double City" and "Traitor," playing the lead role of Zhong Rihua. In 2016, she starred in the comedy "Let's Eat!" In 2018, her romance film "Some Day, Some Month" premiered in Hong Kong and was later released in Mainland China. In 2023, she appeared in TVB's anniversary drama "Romeo and Juliet," and her upcoming series "Queen of Trends," scheduled for 2024, has already aired.

In her personal life, Emma married TVB actor Kenneth Ma in 2013. After marriage, she gave birth to three children in 2013, 2015, and 2016, named Aiden, Nathan Lucas, and Camilla. She slowed down her acting career during this period but planned to make a full comeback around 2021.

Emma has received multiple awards related to her acting, notably the "Most Progressed Female Artist Award" in 2009. Her acting skills have been recognized by industry insiders, especially marked by her improvement in the series "The Truth." She is known for her versatile performances across TV dramas, films, variety shows, and music videos, building a broad fan base.
