Lucy Webster

Lucy Webster, born on December 19, 1664, in Newbury and believed to have lived beyond 1715, was the mother of Abel Merrill. Abel Merrill, born around 1690 in Newbury and deceased on March 29, 1753, in Methuen, was the son of Lucy Webster. Elizabeth Merrill, daughter of Abel Merrill, was born on February 22, 1727 or 1728 in Methuen, and was the mother of Benjamin Pierce. Benjamin Pierce was an American politician born in 1757 and died in 1839. Franklin Pierce, the 14th President of the United States serving from 1853 to 1857, was the son of Benjamin Pierce.
