Jiang Jingying, born in 1901 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. In 1925, she participated in the "February Strike" in Shanghai and supported the May 30th Movement, demonstrating her active involvement in revolutionary activities. That same year, she joined the Chinese Communist Party, becoming a member of the Party. After joining the organization, she dedicated herself to revolutionary work and gradually became an important member of the Communist Party.

In August 1926, Jiang Jingying accompanied her husband, Zeng Yansheng, to Jiujiang, where she served as the Party and Youth League secretary of the Women's Movement Committee of the Jiujiang CPC Committee. During this period, she actively promoted women’s movements and revolutionary activities, fighting for the rights and interests of workers and peasants. In early 1928, amid rapidly changing circumstances, Zeng Yansheng was appointed secretary of the Gannan Special Committee of the CPC, and Jiang Jingying was entrusted with important responsibilities, becoming a key promoter of the revolutionary movement in Gannan.

In 1928, Gannan was engulfed in a White Terror, with extremely severe revolutionary conditions. Zeng Yansheng deeply mobilized the rural masses, participated in the "Liàopéng meeting," and planned peasant uprisings, aiming to restrain the Nationalist Army and create favorable conditions for the revolution. Peasant uprisings broke out in Nankang Tánkǒu, Gánxiàn Dàbù, Yudù Lǐrén, Qiáotóu, and Xìnfēng, igniting a fiery blaze of revolutionary fervor across Gannan. To sustain the revolutionary forces, Zeng Yansheng persisted in the struggle during this crisis, demonstrating a resolute revolutionary will.

On March 23, 1928, during a meeting of the Gannan Special Committee of the CPC, they were ambushed by enemy troops. Zeng Yansheng, Jiang Jingying, and other comrades were captured. Despite facing severe torture, they remained steadfast and unyielding. Under enemy threats and inducements, they upheld their revolutionary stance, encouraged each other, and expressed their loyalty. The enemy tried to force Zeng Yansheng to betray the Party, but he remained unwavering throughout.

Ultimately, Jiang Jingying was executed on April 4, 1928, at the age of 27. Her heroic sacrifice on the execution ground made a significant contribution to the Chinese revolutionary cause. Her sacrifice left a profound impact on the revolutionary movement of that time, and she is remembered as a martyr.
