Introduction

Dong Liangzhe (born 1945), was born in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province. His family members include his father, Dong Buwei; his mother, He Lianzhi; his older brother, Dong Liangyu; his sister, Dong Lianghui; and his cousin, Dong Liangju. During his childhood, he spent time with his parents in Yan'an, Chongqing, and Xibaipo, where he received his education. He attended Bayi, No. 4 Middle School, and No. 6 Middle School, graduating from high school in 1966.

During the Cultural Revolution, Dong Liangzhe was arrested multiple times, with a total imprisonment exceeding one year. In 1969, he went to rural areas in Hebei Province to work in agriculture. In 1973, the People's Daily published a report titled "Good Offspring of the Revolution — Memorial to the Beijing-Soil Youth Dong Liangzhe," which described his work experience in the countryside. this report caused a considerable reaction nationwide.

In 1979, Dong Liangzhe returned to Beijing and began working at the Agricultural Mechanization Service General Company of the Ministry of Agriculture and further received professional training in enterprise management. Subsequently, he was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Kanghua Company, beginning his career. After the 1980s, he developed in various national ministries and the business sector, accumulating rich management experience.

Regarding his family, Dong Liangzhe married Shen Zheng and had children, including his son Dong Shaoxin, his daughter-in-law Huang Qiongzhen, and grandson Dong Dekun. His family relations include his father, Dong Buwei, known as the founding father of China, his mother, He Lianzhi, and other siblings and cousins.

In his later years, Dong Liangzhe was diagnosed with leukemia but exhibited a resilient fighting spirit. He passed away in Ruili, Yunnan, at 19:55 on April 11, 2017, at the age of 72. Throughout his life, he worked in multiple fields and was well known in society.
