Penelope Jane Palmer

Penelope Jane Palmer, born in 1925, is the daughter of William Jocelyn Lewis Palmer, an industrialist who lived from 1894 to 1971. Her paternal grandmother was Maud Palmer, Countess of Selborne, a British political and women's rights activist. Maud Palmer was the daughter of Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, the 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, a British politician and prime minister who lived from 1830 to 1903.
