Introduction

Died and honored as Consort Li (also known as Li Li Fei), her birth and death years are unknown, but she was active approximately during the 14th to 15th centuries and passed away before 1421. She was originally a court lady during the reign of Ming Emperor Renzong Zhu Gaocheng, serving as a concubine of the crown prince, and she died early. After Ming Renzong’s ascension to the throne, on the 21st day of the 10th month of the 22nd year of the Yongle era (November 11, 1424), she was posthumously titled Consort Li with the temple name “Dao Xi”.

Li Li Fei entered the Eastern Palace to serve Emperor Renzong, demonstrating diligence and good virtue. Her tomb is located in Nanjing. According to the "Jiangning County Annals," her tomb is situated northeast of Jishan Mountain, possibly on the eastern side of Niushou Mountain. In the first year of Emperor Xuanzong Zhu Zhanji’s Hongxi era, officials conducted sacrifices at her ancestral hall to honor her.

Alongside Li Li Fei, Consort Shun, from the Zhang family, was posthumously honored and her tomb is located on Niushou Mountain. Scholars speculate that her tomb is in the Jishan area of Nanjing, but some studies suggest that no stele or stone markers remain at her burial site.
