John A. Catsimatidis, Jr.

John A. Catsimatidis Jr. is an American businessman serving as the president and chief operating officer of Red Apple Group, a conglomerate with operations in energy, supermarkets, media, real estate, and investments. Red Apple Group was founded by his father, John A. Catsimatidis.

Born in the United States, Catsimatidis pursued higher education at New York University, where he majored in finance and management. He graduated in 2015. During his time at NYU, he held the position of president of the university's College Republicans chapter. From February 2014 to April 2016, he served as the chairman of the New York Federation of College Republicans. In this role, he was involved in political discussions, notably expressing disagreement with his father regarding the 2014 New York gubernatorial election; his father endorsed "Republicans for Cuomo," while Catsimatidis supported Rob Astorino, emphasizing his belief in contributing to the growth of the Republican Party.

In 2016, Catsimatidis was the youngest delegate from New York at the Republican National Convention. At age 24, he was appointed to the board of Gold Coast Bank. He has publicly stated that he would consider running for political office only if he believed he could meaningfully contribute to the system.

Professionally, Catsimatidis currently holds the positions of president and chief operating officer at Red Apple Group. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief investment officer of the same company.

In his personal life, Catsimatidis married Meghan Fitzpatrick in October 2024. The ceremony was held in a Greek-American tradition at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City.
