Introduction
Princess Huaining was born on April 17, 1624. She was a member of the Ming Dynasty imperial family, the second daughter of Emperor Xizong of Ming. Her mother was Consort Li Cheng. On the thirtieth day of the second month of the fourth year of the Tianqi era (March 30, 1625), a major earthquake occurred in Beijing. During this period, Consort Li Cheng gave birth to Princess Huaining. The princess died prematurely on June 19 of the same year and was buried on December 20 at the foot of Jinshan Mountain.
