Frances Rose was the mother of Lady Ellen Douglas, who was married to Douglas Hamilton-Gordon, the son of George Hamilton-Gordon, the 4th Earl of Aberdeen. Lady Ellen Douglas died in 1914, while Frances Rose died in 1879. Douglas Hamilton-Gordon lived from 1824 to 1901 and was the son of the British politician George Hamilton-Gordon, the 4th Earl of Aberdeen, who lived from 1784 to 1860.
