Li Keping is the half-brother of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, sharing the same father, Li Fongsan, but born to his first wife.

Within the family, Li Keping was the second son of Li Fongsan’s first marriage. His elder brother was Li Kehe, who worked at the Second Academy of the Ministry of Aerospace, and his younger sister is Li Kezhen. As the elder sibling, he grew up alongside his half-brother Li Keqiang within the family in Fengyang County, Anhui Province.

Professionally, Li Keping served as Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Planning Commission, working for many years in the fields of regional economic planning and development. In this role, he contributed to policymaking and the implementation of economic initiatives in the province.

In contrast to his younger brother Li Keqiang, who rose to the highest ranks of Chinese politics, Li Keping has maintained a relatively low public profile. Beyond his official role, little information has been made public about his education or personal life.

Overall, Li Keping is noted both for his career as a provincial-level economic planning official and for his identity as the elder brother of Li Keqiang, making him a recognized but low-profile member of the Li family.
