Elias Hines

Elias Hines, who died in 1846, is the ancestor of a family lineage that includes John F. Hines, who died in 1902, and William Jefferson Blythe Jr., the birth father of William Jefferson Blythe, who is the father of Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001. Frances Ellen Hines, the daughter of John F. Hines, lived from 1857 to 1936, and William Jefferson Blythe, the son of William Jefferson Blythe Jr., lived from 1884 to 1935.
