Introduction
Zhou Zanwen was born in a certain region of China in the 1930s. In 1943, the Republic of China government led by Chiang Kai-shek launched the third anti-communist campaign, carrying out "sweeping" operations against the Communists to weaken their influence in China. During this period, as an intellectual, Zhou Zanwen was among the first to lead a team of surviving intellectuals to relocate, aiming to escape the chaos of war and political purges. Subsequently, due to worsening circumstances, he was forced to leave the mainland and migrate to Taiwan.
In Taiwan, Zhou Zanwen adopted the new name "Zhou Zanwang" to conceal his identity and avoid political persecution. While living in Taiwan, he led a low-profile life, focusing on his family and educational pursuits. Later, he named his son "Yaozhong," expressing hope for the future revival of the Chinese nation. His son, Zhou Yaozhong, was born in 1958 and later became a teacher.
Zhou Yaozhong completed his basic education during his upbringing and chose to pursue a career in teaching. In 1978, he married Ye Huimei, a classmate from secondary school. The following year, in 1962, Zhou Yaozhong's son, Jay Chou, was born. Jay Chou later became a significant figure in the Chinese music scene, but his family's early life and background were primarily grounded in education and migration experiences.
