John Chester (1779β1857) was the son of Catherine Legge, who lived from 1741 to 1819. Mary Chester, the daughter of Catherine Legge, died in 1846 and was the wife of Robert Jenkinson, the 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827.
