Wu Fangfang (born 1969), also known as Wu Youxuan, is from Chun'an County, Zhejiang Province, and is the wife of Guo Zhenggang. She was born into a working-class family and started her business ventures in the early 1990s, gradually becoming a shareholder in real estate enterprises. In 2007, she won a competitive bid for a plot of land at the Zhejiang Military Region's agricultural and sideline base, developing the "Ruifang" fabric market project, which later expanded to the hardware city. She profited 520 million yuan by selling the rights to commercial shops. However, issues with shop financing led to complaints from merchants and became the trigger for her investigation. Wu Fangfang married Guo Zhenggang in 2012 and had a son in 2013. In her early years, she excelled academically, was lively and sociable in high school, and was praised by her classmates as being highly adaptable. In 2015, she temporarily went silent amid issues concerning the hardware city’s unfinished project, and later she was involved in Guo Zhenggang's case, attracting significant attention.
