Introduction
Ouyang Long, born in the 1950s, is a Taiwanese politician and actor. He has served as a producer for multiple television stations, including Sanlih E-Television, Minjian Minquan Television, and WeLai Television. In the entertainment industry, he became a leading male actor for China Television in the 1980s, collaborating with Zhao Yaqi on the TV drama "Jing Hua Yan Yun."
Between 1997 and 1998, Ouyang Long joined the Kuomintang (KMT) and was successfully elected as a Taipei City Councilor in the 2002 election. During his term in the 9th Taipei City Council, he garnered initial support as an independent candidate by advocating for "setting aside party burdens," and subsequently was re-elected after regaining KMT membership. In the 10th Taipei City Council election, he was nominated by the KMT to run for Wenshan and Daan districts, winning re-election again.
From February 27 to March 4, 2015, Ouyang Long, along with family members including his second sister Ouyang Beibei, third sister Ouyang Lili, and her husband Zhao Youkang, traveled to Jinan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, for family visits and inspections. From July 4 to 7, 2016, he led a group of 13 people, including Taipei City Councilor Lin Ruitu and Li Fuzhongwu, back to Ji'an for local exchanges and inspection.
In 2019, Ouyang Long became a spokesperson for the Kuomintang. That same year, he gave an interview to Global Times, discussing his experiences crossing over from the entertainment industry to politics.
Regarding family, Ouyang Long has a sister, Feifei Ouyang, a well-known singer, as well as sisters Beibei and Lili. His wife is actress Fu Juan; they married on December 31, 1995. The couple has three daughters: Ouyang Nini (born March 9, 1996), Ouyang Nana (born June 15, 2000), and Ouyang Didi (born July 30, 2004). In family life, Ouyang Long and Fu Juan are considered a model couple and have publicly stated they have never argued. They once exchanged a one-carat diamond ring as a symbol of their love, which remains a treasured keepsake.
Fu Juan, a well-known artist in Taiwan, has released albums and starred in several TV dramas such as "Love Fire and Revenge," "Dangerous Relations," and "New Justice Bao." She is also active in charity work, serving as a spokesperson for numerous charitable organizations. In 2022, she and Ouyang Long appeared together at various public events, including charity functions and family commemorations.
