Ho Lung Cheung

Zhang Haolong, born on May 24, 1980, is a Hong Kong native, actor, and water skiing athlete. He was born into a family in the Pak Man Lau area between Yau Ma Tei and Jordan in Hong Kong. His father, Zhang Renyong, was born in Shanghai and is Chinese. He曾 engaged in related activities within the triad society, known in the underworld as Hu Xu Yong, and has been detained by police. His mother is of mixed British and Chinese descent; his grandmother hails from Sichuan. After his parents divorced, Zhang Haolong lived with his mother and siblings, including a maternal half-sister Dai Bizhi, an older sister Zhang Baizhi, a younger brother Zhang Bowen, and a paternal half-brother.

Zhang Haolong's family background is complex. Both parents had been married previously and had multiple children post-marriage. His father operated outside the entertainment industry and was involved in triad activities. His mother was previously married, with one daughter from that marriage, and later bore one son and two daughters. His older sister, Zhang Baizhi, is a renowned film star. Due to his family ties, Zhang Haolong has gained certain public recognition.

Regarding his career, Zhang Haolong began practicing water skiing at age 24 and gradually withdrew from the entertainment industry to focus on the sport. In 2005, through his sister Zhang Baizhi's introduction, he first encountered water skiing and started participating in competitions. He achieved third place in the national wakeboard event in 2006, won the men's wakeboard championship at the national water skiing tournament in 2007, and was champion in the men's open category at the Hong Kong National Championship in 2009. In 2010, he competed at the Chinese Water Sports Games and the National Sports Congress, finishing second in the final but remaining humble, expressing gratitude to the audience afterward.

On September 18, 2012, Zhang Haolong married a makeup artist girlfriend named Zhou Ziwen in Hong Kong. The wedding was held at the Happy Valley Country Club in a simple style, with a budget of approximately 100,000 RMB. Family members, media, and friends attended to celebrate. His sister Zhang Baizhi was present and performed a song as a gift, showcasing sibling affection. The wedding decor was romantic and cozy, mainly in purple and white tones, featuring a white lace and floral-adorned arch bridge, with multiple performances by family and friends. After the ceremony, the family enjoyed a warm and lively celebration.

Zhang Haolong's notable works include numerous Hong Kong TV dramas and films. Between 2002 and 2006, he appeared in several productions like "Records of Hong Kong Cases," "Dangerous Characters," and "Very Youthful," playing significant roles. His key characters include Zhang Baile, Ah Long, and Mike, spanning TV dramas and movies. Besides acting, he has achieved recognition in sports as a water skiing athlete, earning multiple honors.

In business, in 2018, Zhang Haolong purchased a luxury residence in Tai Po’s Happy Valley for HKD 25.25 million (approximately RMB 20.37 million), reflecting his growing financial strength.

Family-wise, Zhang Haolong maintains good relationships with his sister Zhang Baizhi and older brother Zhang Bowen. Zhang Baizhi’s husband was actor Nicholas Tse, who was formerly married to her; they are now divorced. Zhang Haolong tends to lead a low-key and pragmatic life in both his personal and professional pursuits.
