Lady Charlotte Anne Fox-Strangways, who died in 1826, is the daughter of Mary Theresa Fox-Strangways, Countess of Ilchester. She is also the mother of Louisa Fox-Strangways, who is married to Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice, the 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne. Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice is the son of William Petty, the 2nd Earl of Shelburne, who served as British Prime Minister from 1737 to 1805. William Petty, 2nd Earl of Shelburne, was the son of the first husband of Mary Theresa Fox-Strangways, Countess of Ilchester.
