Zhang Jinfeng

Zhang Jinfeng (1925 – March 3, 2018), born in 1925, native of Fujian. Her family background involves Cai Jiesheng, who had five spouses; Zhang Jinfeng was his fourth wife. After marrying Cai Jiesheng, she had four children with him: the eldest daughter Cai Yingling, the eldest son Cai Yingyang, the second son Cai Yingming, and the youngest daughter Cai Yingwen. Additionally, she brought a son, Zhang Bainian, into the family.

Regarding her marriage, as the fourth wife of Cai Jiesheng, her marriage was formed while Cai Jiesheng already had other wives. Cai Jiesheng had an established family before marrying Zhang Jinfeng. Therefore, Cai Yingwen was the youngest child among those born to Cai Jiesheng and Zhang Jinfeng.

Zhang Jinfeng passed away on March 3, 2018, at her residence in Taipei at the age of 93. Her eldest son, Cai Yingyang, handled the funeral arrangements. Upon learning of her passing, Cai Yingwen publicly expressed gratitude for the condolences from all sectors. Her death was widely reported by Taiwanese media, which also reviewed her family background and life achievements.
