Introduction
Prince Huai Jing Zhu Zhan'ao (January 28, 1409 – November 30, 1446), was a younger son of Ming Emperor Renzong Zhu Gaochi, his mother was Consort Li Xian. In 1424, he was bestowed the title Prince of Huai. Later, in 1429, he was appointed as the boundary guardian of Shaoguan, Guangdong. Due to frequent miasma and diseases in the Shaoguan area, in 1436 he was relocated and enfeoffed at Raozhou Prefecture. Zhu Zhan'ao passed away in 1446 and was posthumously titled Prince Jing. His principal wives and consorts included the Xiao, Wu, and An clans. His sons were Zhu Qiqian, Zhu Qibin, and Zhu Qiuyue, and he had several daughters including the Guixi, Yugang, and Yihuang princesses. His tomb is located in Hanshan, Poyang County, Jiangxi Province, and was unearthed in 1969.
