Introduction
Ikeda Saki is the second daughter of Nakayasu Ikeda and the wife of Yoshie Ikeda. She is connected through her marriage to the Ikeda family, with her husband being the son of Ikeda Yoshitaka, the 13th head of the Ikeda family and the 11th daimyo of the Inaba Tottori Domain during the late Edo period. Her husband's father, Ikeda Yoshitaka, was appointed to the court rank of Junior Fourth Rank, served as Chamberlain, and held the position of Inaba Governor. Ikeda Yoshitaka was the son of Maeda Nariyasu and the grandson of Maeda Yoshiyasu, a daimyo. Sawako Konoe, the daughter of Maeda Yoshiyasu, was the mother of Fumimaro Konoe, a Japanese politician.
