Benjamin Stone, Sr.

Benjamin Stone, Sr., born on December 11, 1713, in an unspecified location, was active until after 1750. He is recognized as the father of Uriah Stone, who was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on December 1, 1744, and died in Piermont, New Hampshire, on April 7, 1807. Benjamin Stone, Sr. is also the grandfather of George Washington Stone, born on February 23, 1777, in Piermont, and who passed away on January 12, 1854, in Dunham, Quebec, Canada. Further descended from George Washington Stone is Malvina Stone (1802–1869), the daughter of George Washington Stone, and ultimately the mother of Chester A. Arthur, who served as President of the United States from 1881 to 1885.
