Introduction
Mortimer von Maltzan was a Prussian diplomat and served as the Foreign Minister from 1841 to 1842. He was the parent of Alexandrina Lamb, who was married to Frederick Lamb, the 3rd Viscount Melbourne. Frederick Lamb was the son of Peniston Lamb, the 1st Viscount Melbourne. William Lamb, the 2nd Viscount Melbourne, was also the son of Peniston Lamb. Alexandrina Lamb died in 1894.
