Court records show that Sara has played a central role in the Biden family business for decades, with her and Jim’s desire for a lifestyle beyond their means leading to partnerships with dubious figures and enterprises that often resulted in lawsuits or criminal investigations.

Her and Jim Biden’s primary company, the Lion Hall Group, appeared in more than 3,735 emails from Joe Biden’s office during his time as Vice President, according to documents obtained by America First Legal. This volume of communication has fueled skepticism about Joe Biden’s repeated claims that he was never involved in his family’s business dealings.
