Ren Shulu, born in 1956, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Yunnan University. He joined Huawei in 1992 and has been a key executive serving the company for decades.
Over the course of his career at Huawei, he has held several important positions, including Director of branch offices in Lanzhou, Guangzhou, and Fuzhou, as well as Head of the Customer Engineering Department, President of the Internal Services Department, and President of the Infrastructure Department. His expertise spans customer service, internal operations, and infrastructure development, greatly contributing to Huawei’s growth.
Currently, Ren Shulu serves as a Standing Supervisor, Chief Logistics Officer, and Senior Vice President of Huawei. He has also served as President of Huawei’s subsidiary Huantong, Chairman of the Huawei Infrastructure Investment Management Committee, and Chairman of the Huawei Internal Services Management Committee.
In April 2022, he was elected as a member of the Supervisory Board during its re-election. In 2023, he additionally assumed the role of Supervisor at Huawei Technologies Xi’an Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen HiSilicon Co., Ltd., expanding his governance responsibilities within the Huawei Group.
Ren Shulu has long been responsible for Huawei’s logistics management and administrative system construction. He played a significant role in the Huawei Tianjin Regional Headquarters project and in digital transformation collaborations. He has also represented Huawei in various initiatives, including the Guizhou Data Center construction, the Shenzhen Smart Bus strategic cooperation agreement, and the Guangxi Kunpeng Computing Industry initiative. Additionally, he has delivered keynote speeches at events such as the Dongguan Digital Summit and the inauguration of the Longgang Smart Center.
