Joseph Royce

Joseph Royce, born around 1663 and confirmed deceased on December 19, 1707, is linked through successive generations to Hannah Morgan, born July 18, 1642 in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and who died December 12, 1706 in Wallingford. Hannah Morgan's lineage includes her daughter Lydia Royce, born May 28, 1680 in Wallingford, who lived until approximately 1747 or 1751, and Lydia's daughter Susannah Messenger, born November 30, 1704 in Wallingford. Susannah Messenger's daughter was Tabitha Hopkins, born October 16, 1745 in Harwinton, Connecticut. Tabitha Hopkins was the mother of Phoebe Millard, who in turn was the mother of Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the United States, who served from 1850 to 1853.
