Hannah Gill

Hannah Gill was born in Preston, Lancashire, on 31 March 1823, and passed away in 1903 in Crawshawbooth, Lancashire. She is the mother of Mary Pickup, who was born on 18 December 1848 in Crawshawbooth. Mary Pickup is the mother of Richard Ernest Birtwistle, born on 5 December 1871 in Goodshaw, Lancashire. Richard Ernest Birtwistle's daughter, Joyce Mary Birtwistle, was born on 31 May 1906 in Hasland, Derbyshire, and died on 21 August 1959 in Hertfordshire. Joyce Mary Birtwistle is the mother of John Truss, a British mathematician, and the grandmother of Liz Truss, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2022.
