Ann Aspinwall

Ann Aspinwall was born on 23 May 1786 and died on 3 September 1845. She was the daughter of William Smith Aspinwall and the granddaughter of John Aspinwall. Her maternal lineage includes Hannah Aspinwall, who was the mother of Elizabeth Monroe. Elizabeth Monroe, the wife of James Monroe, served as First Lady of the United States from 1817 to 1825 during James Monroe’s presidency. Ann Aspinwall was associated with 20 Lafayette Place. William Smith Aspinwall, her father, was born in 1767 and died in London on 28 January 1796.
