Introduction
Heneage Legge was an English judge born in 1704 and died in 1759. He was the father of Catherine Legge, who lived from 1741 to 1819. Catherine Legge married Robert Jenkinson, the 2nd Earl of Liverpool, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1812 to 1827. Their daughter, Mary Chester, who died in 1846, was married to Robert Jenkinson.
