Introduction
Anhua Huiyi Wang Zhu Zhiteng was born on September 11, 1415, and died in 1491. He was the first Anhua King of the Ming Dynasty, the eldest son of Zhu Jiu, and his mother was Lady Liu. He was granted his title in April of the 19th year of Yongle (1421), and received the coronation robes in July of the 3rd year of Xuande (1428).
Zhu Zhiteng petitioned to move his residence due to the cramped conditions of his palace in the 6th year of Zhengtong (1441), requesting permission to relocate neighboring residents, but was denied. He made another request in the 2nd year of Jingtai (1451) to relocate again, which was also not approved. He passed away in January of the 4th year of Hongzhi (1491) at the age of 77, with the posthumous name Huiyi.
His eldest son, Zhu Suo Man, predeceased him, and his eldest grandson, Zhu Zhi, succeeded him. Historian Wang Shizhen, in his "Yanshan Hall Miscellaneous Collection," records his age at death as 88 years old. His wife was the daughter of Ni Sheng, who was the Commander of the Ningxia Central Guards. She was titled as Anhua Princess consort in July of the 3rd year of Xuande (1428).
Regarding his children, his eldest son Zhu Suo Man was posthumously conferred the title of Anhua Gonghe Wang. His eldest daughter was the Lady of Fugu County, and his second daughter was the Lady of Fushì County.
