Silas Briggs

Silas Briggs was born on April 17, 1732, in Dighton and died on September 9, 1813, in Barre. He was the father of Asa Briggs, who lived from 1755 to 1834. Asa Briggs was the father of Sally Briggs, born around 1783 and deceased by 1869. Sally Briggs was the mother of Sally Brown, born on February 4, 1801, and who died around July 5, 1884. Sally Brown was the mother of Sarah Alameda Brewer, who lived from 1823 to 1906. Sarah Alameda Brewer was the mother of John Calvin Coolidge, Sr., and the grandfather of Calvin Coolidge, the President of the United States from 1923 to 1929.
