Stanley Ho was a famous Macau gambling king. His family background was prestigious; his mother, Li Wenhua, came from a lawyer's family, and his father was Stanley Ho himself. He had multiple children with several wives, including Ho Chiu-ying, Ho Yau-kwong, and Ho Chiu-hung. Ho Chiu-han and her Danish husband Peter Kjaer have a daughter named Ariel. In 2011, Stanley Ho confirmed in an interview that he transferred shares of Macau gaming company to his second and third wives, which subsequently led to a dispute over inheritance. Ho Chiu-han expressed dissatisfaction, believing her father intended to divide the estate equally, but his other wives and children’s actions diverged from this intention. In 2022, the court dismissed Ho Chiu-han’s request for the appointment of an estate administrator, ruling that Stanley Ho had no will, and the status of the inheritance remains unclear.
