Introduction

Honoured as Hui Jing Consort, also known as Yue Jing Consort, she was born in 1465 and died in 1534. Her ancestral home was Cheng'an County, Guangping Prefecture, Zhili (today's Hebei Province). She was the daughter of Yue Ji and Shen's daughter, and a consort of Ming Emperor Xianzong Zhu Jianshen. She was the mother of the Sixth Princess Xianyou. She was born on September 19th, the first year of Chenghua (October 8, 1465), and was selected into the imperial inner court in the 11th year of Chenghua (1475). She once attended the emperor and bore the Sixth Princess Xianyou. In the 23rd year of Chenghua (1487), she was granted the title of Jing Consort. In the same year, Emperor Xianzong passed away. After her sixth princess's death in 1492, she was posthumously honored by Emperor Xiaozong as Princess Xianyou. She died on July 13th, 1534, at the age of 70. Her posthumous title was He, and she was posthumously promoted to Jing Consort. She was buried in Jinshan. Archaeological discoveries of her tomb stele confirm its location; the tomb is located at Jinshan Kou and is collectively buried with other consorts of Emperor Xianzong.
