John Manners, 5th Baron Manners, is a British peer and the son of Mary Gascoyne-Cecil, who was the daughter of Lord William Cecil. Lord William Cecil, who lived from 1863 to 1936, was the son of Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, the 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, a British politician and prime minister who lived from 1830 to 1903. Mary Gascoyne-Cecil's lifespan was from 1900 to 1994.
