Anne Borlase, who died in 1646, was the mother of Richard Grenville, a British politician who lived from 1647 to 1719. Richard Grenville was the father of Hester Pitt, Countess of Chatham, a British noblewoman, who in turn was the mother of William Pitt the Younger, a notable British statesman who lived from 1759 to 1806.
