Mary Clemson

Mary Clemson, born in 1763, was the progenitor of a family lineage that includes her great-granddaughter, U.S. President Richard Nixon, who served from 1969 to 1974. She is the ancestor of Joseph Dickinson Moore (1794-1860), whose daughter Mary Louise Moore Wadsworth became her granddaughter, and who in turn was the mother of Sarah Ann Wadsworth Nixon. Sarah Ann Wadsworth Nixon was the paternal grandmother of Richard Nixon, and her son Francis A. Nixon was an American businessman and the father of Richard Nixon.
